Sheep can be easily managed in groups, including electronic groups on your computer.
Use management groups in FarmWorks Classic to record similar information against multiple animals. Then analyse and filter those management groups in FarmWorks Classic reports. Use the Stock Recorder to create new management groups, or add sheep to existing groups. It also keeps count, so you don’t have to.
Why group my sheep?
Record groups:
- to make drafting easy
- to record the same information to multiple animals (ex.- Medical treatments, comments, movements, etc.)
- to find specific sheep for specific reports (ex. Ewes with double lambs, lambs from a certain sire, sheep needing vaccination, etc.)
