Cattle can be easily managed in groups, including electronic groups on your computer.
Use management groups in FarmWorks Classic to record similar information against multiple animals. Then analyse and filter those management groups in FarmWorks Classic reports. Use the Stock Recorder to create new management groups, or add cattle to existing groups. It also keeps count, so you don’t have to.
Why group my cattle?
Record groups:
- to make drafting easy
- to record the same information to multiple animals (ex.- Medical treatments, comments, movements, etc.)
- to find specific cattle for specific reports (ex. TB testing, calves from a certain bull, cows needing vaccination, etc.)
